Currently, when the Player speaks, the text appears instantly in the form of a button, instead of gradually revealing itself with a typing effect like the NPC’s dialogue. I’d like to know if there is any additional setting or step required to make the Player’s lines also display with a typing effect and require a click to proceed to the next line.
I’m currently using the default UI and the JRPG TempUI. My goal is for both the Player and NPC dialogues to have a typing effect, and require a click to move on to the next line. Only when there are branching choices (Choice) do I want to maintain the default “button” style for the dialogue options.
