all good, bro. No worries. That was only a joke! I think the price is worth the asset.Tony Li wrote:If you're talking about a sale for the Dialogue System, it was on sale recently so I'm afraid it probably won't be on sale again for a while. (The Unity Asset Store controls the sales.)
Text Adventure with Dialogue System?
Re: Text Adventure with Dialogue System?
Hey Tony,
Re: Text Adventure with Dialogue System?
I understand people have budgets, though, and the Dialogue System isn't the perfect fit for every project. But I happen to think it's worth the price, too.
Re: Text Adventure with Dialogue System?
Btw... is there any tutorial for creating a game with "textline project" - a game like Lifeline?
Couldn't find something (not in youtube and not in the tutorial section of your homepage).

The Textline package contains instructions in a PDF.

No worries! The documentation is pretty short. If you have any questions about it, just let me know!
Re: Text Adventure with Dialogue System?
Hi Tony,
I create a text adventure. Is there any way to save every posted textbox (including the whole dialogue)? I want to use a "permanent save system", so that a player can close the app every time but when he reopened it, then it should load the last state automatically (or via "load button"). Is this possible if I'm using textline project?

Re: Text Adventure with Dialogue System?
Yes, the Textline project will do this. You can change the appearance of the UI. If you don't like overall structure of Textline, you can just borrow the dialogue UI code instead and put it in your own project.
