It looks like Unity's Timeline (+Cinemachine) will be launching with the upcoming Unity 2017.1 and the in-development builds are already available to test.
The prospect of using Dialogue System in conjunction with Timeline is exciting. While I'm prepared to write custom sequencer commands to handle this, has any official work begun on integration?
Is anybody currently using Dialogue System with the the beta version of Timeline? If so, can anyone shed some light on their workflow and how these systems interact together?

In the next release (1.7.0), I plan to add two sequencer commands: one to set the target of a VirtualCamera, and another to kick off a timeline sequence. I expect them to work similarly to the sequencer commands for SLATE, Cinema Director, and uSequencer.
I haven't started implementing them yet. If anyone would like to share their progress, I'd be happy to consider it for inclusion in the integration package.

Has this been implemented ? I couldn't find it in the documentation.

Sorry, the Cinemachine and Timeline features got delayed until version 1.7.4, which should be out at the end of this month.
