After loading a dialogue, the first line is always blank

As shown in the video, when using the Dialogue System Saver and Conversation State Saver to save dialogue state, while it works correctly, the first line after loading is always blank instead of the originally saved state. Also, the NPC name in the dialogue changes from what was originally set to the object name of the entire dialogue.

There's a patch for that. (Fixed in the upcoming 2.2.51.) Patch:

DS_ConversationStateSaverFix_2024-11-27.unitypackage

Also, if you subtitle panel's Subtitle Text has a typewriter effect, make sure Play On Enable is UNticked.

If the patch doesn't address the first line loading blank, please let me know.

Can you confirm that the correct portrait name and portrait image appear when loading a saved game? If so, then we can look separately at why the first line is blank.

No, after loading, the first line not only has the incorrect name, but also doesn't display a portrait. However, the second line and onwards display correctly.
