Remove NPC portrait while talking

Hiya, I have a fairly basic question: what would be the best way to go about removing the character NPC portrait while a dialog is occuring?

Hi Jeff,

Remove the UI element from the dialogue UI. Or, if you want to keep the UI element around, deactivate it and unassign it from the Unity UI Dialogue UI's NPC Subtitle > Portrait Image field.
