Hi there,
I'm curious about how the "% judge parent" feature works. I've experimented with various scenarios using different settings and inputs, but I'm still struggling to grasp its main concept. Could you provide an example to clarify this mechanism?
Thank you!

Re: About % judge parent...
Hi,
When "% judge parents" is nonzero, then when a faction sets a relationship to a subject, it also sets/modifies relationships to the subject's parents scaled by this amount. Here's an example:
"% judge parents" is 50%.
Let's say you have a bunch of characters, each with their own factions.
First is a character named Cornelius. His parents are Arthur and Belinda.
Then you have another character named Dora. Dora likes Belinda and has +60 affinity toward her.

- Cornelius treats Dora badly.
- So Dora sets her personal affinity to Cornelius to -40.
- Since "% judge parents" is 50%, Dora will reduce her affinity to Arthur and Belinda by -20. This models the idea that Dora thinks Cornelius's bad behavior is due to bad parenting.
- Dora has no particular affinity to Arthur, so it gets set to -20.
- Dora started with +60 affinity to Belinda, so it drops to +40.

Interesting! I didn't set up any affinity with the parents, and that's why I cannot grasp the concept from it.
