Copy not keeping node position

Post by johnnemann »

Hi,

I saw in the 1.5.7 release notes that copying a conversation should keep the node position, but I am on 1.5.7a and I'm seeing the nodes be auto-arranged when I create a copy. Is this a bug, or do I need to change my behavior?

Thanks!

Hi,

How are you copying the conversation? I just tested in 1.5.7a, and it kept the same arrangement as the original conversation. I right-clicked on an empty spot in the canvas and selected "Copy Conversation" from the context menu.

If this doesn't work for you, please let me know what version of Unity you're using and what OS.

Yep, those were my steps as well.

However, I re-imported the package from the asset store and now it works, so I guess I had a bad upgrade before, or something.

Thanks for the help!
