Hi Tony,
We just recently discovered the amazing feature of organising dialogs in folders.
However it seems that when I change the title of a conversation to be in a folder all references pointing to it (from Adventure Creator actions) are lost. Wondering if there is any way around this or if we have to refactor everything manually.
Does your action not have a correlation to the conversation based on ID?
Cheers,
Duarte
Dialog Folders and Adventure Creator - Refactoring?
Re: Dialog Folders and Adventure Creator - Refactoring?
Hi Duarte,
Sorry, actions correlate to conversation titles, not conversation IDs. I'm afraid you'll have to reassign them manually unless your programmer can write a tool to switch them automatically.
Since the Dialogue System can import content from other systems such as articy:draft, Neverwinter Nights, and Excel that don't use IDs, it was safer overall to correlate with conversation titles instead of conversation IDs.

Hi Tony,
No worries, I was kinda afraid that was the case.
I will deal with this manually, all good. Thanks again the quick reply mate.

Duarte
