PC messages not showing on SMS Template

hello! I'm relatively new to this plugin & Unity in general. I'm using the SMS Template, and I want the user's chosen message to show in the text log, but it doesn't, and I'm not entirely sure why.

Hi,

Thanks for using the Dialogue System! Inspect your Dialogue Manager GameObject. In Display Settings > Subtitle Settings, tick Show PC Subtitles During Line, and UNtick Skip PC Subtitle After Response Menu.
