a problem [articy:draft special characters]

Post by yarseit »

Hi,

I'm very happy with the system and just starting to use it. I have a little problem. When I import a project from articy draft, symbols appear at the end of my dialogs. Like this - &#160. Attached a screenshot at the bottom. And not on all dialogues, but only on some. I don't know why this is happening. Maybe you can help?

I use articy 2.4+ and used your template for articy

Thank you in advance :D

Hi,

Those are special character codes that the importer doesn't yet know how to interpret. For what characters is that happening? Would it be possible for you to send a copy of your articy XML file to tony (at) pixelcrushers.com? I'll update the articy importer to handle those codes.

It looks like the signs appear where the dot is on the end. But not on all of them. Maybe it matters which keyboard layout I'm in. Which is stupid, right? I sent xml to your email address

Hi,

That code ( ) is a non-breaking space. It means you have a blank space character at the end. Which is normally fine. The articy importer just wasn't handling that kind of character properly. I replied to your email with a patch. The patch fix will also be in the next full release of the Dialogue System.
