Is it possible to add this to a current project? or does it have to be added to a new project blank project and then build everything around it?

Hi,
You can certainly add it to an existing project. Just drop the Dialogue Manager prefab into a scene, typically the first scene that will use any Dialogue System features. If you have any questions about adding it to your current project, just let me know.
