Different audioclips per actor in typewritter effect

Post by RGV »

Hi!

I love Typewritter audio clip and alternate audio clips inclusion because many many games have managed voices that way. I think Okami may remind anyone as the first, but also Golden Sun, Undertale or so, almost every RPG indeed!

I was wondering how to reach different voices when typewritting, depending on talking actor. I hoped it was a property in DialogueActor component but it isn't. What would be the correct, orthodox, maintainable and efficient way to proceed?

Thanks so much in advance!

Thank you so much.
I'm sorry. I had searched only by "voice" and "typewritter" terms.

No worries! If you don't find an answer to any question after a quick search, feel free to post. If there's an existing answer, I usually have an idea of where to find it, and I don't mind linking to it.
