Sometimes no conversation is selected in drop-down list (node view mode). But the last conversation will be shown anyway. So it is pretty easy not to notice, that current conversation is actually empty, because the node content looks exactly as the last edited conversation. But after selecting another conversation in drop-down-list the changes in "empty"-conversation will be lost. Pretty annoying.
(note drop down list is empty)
I am not sure how to reproduce to this state, when current conversation in drop-down-list is empty. But this happends pretty oft, when i write a part of converstation, then go to another tabs, like Actors/Quests etc. Then may be start a game and then go back to Conversation tab.
Changes in conversation are lost
Re: Changes in conversation are lost
Hi,
I'll fix the dropdown issue. It's just not showing the current conversation title. But that shouldn't affect whether conversation data is saved or not.
What version of the Dialogue System are you using?

Re: Changes in conversation are lost
I am using 2.1.7.
I have just tested it one more time. Direct after Unity start this dropdown list is always empty and last edited dialogue is in editor. But after adding some nodes dropdown list is updated, and all changes will be saved correctly. So in this case it works fine. So it should be not first dialog-edit problem.
I will try to reproduce it step by step. For now i only can say, it does not happen in this start case scenario.
