How to add picture to items.
Hi,
In Dialogue System databases, items don't have pictures. If you want to hold a conversation with an item -- for example, talking to a computer terminal or a closed door, or interacting with an object in the world -- make it an actor instead, and add an actor portrait image for the item.
If you want to associate an external image with an item, you can add a custom field. (Expand the item's All Fields section and click the "+" button.) For example, say you have a script that has a list of images, where element 0 is an image of an apple, 1 is an image of a banana, etc. You can add a custom field named "Image Number" and assign the corresponding image number.
If you need items to do more, consider using an inventory plugin such as S-Inventory. The Dialogue System has built-in support for S-Inventory. You can use it to pick up, drop, equip, and use items in the world, and arrange them in inventory windows.
