hey, is it possible to add a caption system similar to baldis basics?
as you can see it's proximity based, it gets smaller the more the character is far away, and it follows whatever npc. it's pretty useful since it gives clues on where a specific sound is.

You should be able to use the same approach as How To: Show Overhead Conversation Bubble Text to put the captions in world space canvases, either as barks or -- for more than one line at a time -- subtitles in a conversation.
