Vertical layout group for subtitles.

Post by perezbalen »

Hi,

I've been trying to add some MMFeedbacks to my dialogue system. I want the new text that appears in a long conversation to bounce and shine. The situation is with the "Subtitle Text (TMP)" panel. So far, I've managed to make the text bounce, but since the conversation history in the "Subtitle Text (TMP)" is one big TMP that gets the new text appended to ir, when I play an effect, it applies it to the entire conversation history, not just the new text. So, is there a way to have each chunk of text that comes from the database as a new TMP (like how the "Response Menu Panel" puts each option into a vertical layout group)?

Thanks.

Hi,

Yes; you can use the SMS Dialogue UI prefab. You can restyle it so it doesn't look like an SMS conversation.
