Changing Actor display name mid-conversation

Heya, just a quick question this time;
Is there a way to immediately change the display name of an actor in the middle of a conversation? I've tried changing both name and Display Name, ticking the "Use Display Name" box, but it seems like the dialogue manager only reflects the change if I start a new conversation with the same character again. I was hoping to be able to change it mid-conversation and immediately have the actor name update within the running conversation.
