Moving camera in sequence darkens scene permanently

im using the "cut to players default camera" sequence command, which works best for my scene, but when the camera zooms in on the NPC, the scene darkens completely and permanently, ive checked the lighting, and the sources of light when this happens and all of them are still enabled.

It only happens when I use the sequence too, if I delete the sequence, the conversation and the lighting plays out as normal, and doesnt darken.

Hi,

Have you assigned a different camera to the Dialogue Manager's Display Settings > Camera & Cutscene Settings > Sequencer Camera?

Is your main camera tagged "Main Camera"? Try setting your main camera's tag to "Main Camera" and leave the Dialogue Manager's Sequencer Camera field unassigned.

If that doesn't help, are there any errors or warnings in the Console window?

Hi,

Please inspect the Dialogue Manager GameObject and expand Display Settings > Camera & Cutscene Settings. Then take a screenshot and post it here. (Use Attachments down below to add the screenshot image file as an attachment, then Place Inline.)

Hi,

If that MainCamera is your scene's main camera, you do not need to assign it to the Dialogue Manager. Right-click on the Sequencer Camera field and select Revert to unassign it. Make sure your MainCamera's Tag dropdown is set to "MainCamera".

ah i did that just now and it still darkens, it seems to have something to do with the post processing layer i have on my maincamera, when i assign it to default the scene plays normally without any darkening, with the layer assigned to postprocessing thats when it darkens

FIXED: I left a game object with a different post processing profile with different post processing volumes that has been running in the background by accident, i disabled it and just applied its effects to my camera instead and the darkening doesnt happen anymore hehe

Hi,

Is that scene a conversation or just a cutscene sequence running outside of a conversation?

Do you want the cursor to be visible at this point or not?

its a cutscene with a conversation and responses, I talk to the NPC, camera zooms in close up, and then the selections appear, but the cursor isnt visible like normal conversations without the close up zoom ins.
ah, i want it to appear during this point
