Interactions Not Working

On the project I'm working on, I ran across an issue when I press spacebar to interact with an NPC, nothing happens. It still displays the message "spacebar to interact" still shows up when I walk over to them. But when I press spacebar when I am in their range, their conversations don't show up. The weird thing is that it worked completely fine when I was working on it a couple of days ago. The only thing I changed from then and working on it now is that I added some entries to other quests. I haven't messed with the dialogue manager or the player character.
