Hi,
I set up a PC subtitle panel and a NPC subtitle panel. But no matter how I change the setting on the Standard Dialogue UI, and added the dialogue actor, when I play the conversation, it only plays the NPC subtitle panels. Did I miss anything? Thanks!

Hi,

Tick the Dialogue Manager's Display Settings > Subtitle Settings > Show PC Subtitles During Line. More info, options, and screenshot:

Hi Tony,
thank you for your response. I have already checked "Show PC Subtitles During Line". But there is no different in terms of my UI. To get you a better idea, i attached some screenshots below for your reference.

Thanks again!

Hi,
looks like I figured the panels out.

Another questions, I am wondering, how do I disable the dialogue box once their talks are finished? For now, I have two panels hanging on the screen the same time. I would like to have A talk, and the dialog box disappear; then B talk, then the dialog box disappear. These are all in the same conversation.

Thank you!

Hi,

Set the Standard UI Subtitle Panel components' Visibility dropdowns to Until Superceded, or to Until Superceded Or Actor Change Or Response Menu.

Hi there,

thank you for your quick response. The "Until Superceded" options worked out! Each dialogue box goes away once it is done.

I ticked the "Until Superceded Or Actor Change Or Response Menu" before but did not work out on my case.

Thanks again!

Sorry, that was a bug that's fixed in version 2.2.43, which is scheduled for release by the end of the week.
