Heyo, first time posting here, love how thorough you've been with customers over the years.
As of recently, the main selector panel functions awkwardly AFTER the first interaction.
On load, the distance required to interact with objects that hold conversations is normal.
But once a conversation has started (or finished, hard to tell)the main selector panel does not de-activate until the player has looked at and is close enough to another entity that holds conversations. Additionally, the distance required to activate the main selector panel is now of point blank range rather than the default 5.
I've attempted to swap back to using the Basic Standard UI elements prefab to see if it was my custom prefab that was causing this behaviour, but the problem persists then too.

Have you tried disabling the selector during conversations? The process is covered at 07:00 in the Interaction Tutorial.

Thankyou! this was the exact fix.
I had forgotten to re-enable the selector script as I had wanted it disabled during conversations.
