Hi,
When you input a Japanese character to the Dialogue Text box of a Dialogue Database from the Condensations window, it seems that the dialogue text on screen doesn't get updated from that point(if you continue to use the language.)
Would you check that once, please?
My development environment: Dialogue System 1.6.2 + Unity 5.3.4p6 Personal + Windows 7
Japanese language dialogue text
Re: Japanese language dialogue text
Hi,
Can you please provide more details? Do you mean the dialogue text shown by the dialogue UI when playing the game? Or the dialogue text in the Dialogue Editor? Would it be possible for you to post screenshots or send a reproduction project to tony (at) pixelcrushers.com?
There is a known issue in 1.6.2+ with conversations getting out of sync in the Dialogue Editor in rare occasions when switching into and out of playmode. Version 1.6.3 is coming out tomorrow to fix it. To check if you were affected by this issue, close the Dialogue Editor window and re-open it. Make sure that your changes are still present.

Re: Japanese language dialogue text
Thank you for your reply.
Well then, how about this?
1) Create a Dialogue Database file, open it and make a short conversation on Unity
2) Enter "テスト1" in Dialogue Text of any Dialogue Entry
3) Play and check to display "テスト1"
4) Enter "テスト2" to the step 2 Dialogue Text box
5) Play
Then you see the first "テスト1" text again, not "テスト2" and "テスト1" never change if you input other Japanese word such as "テスト3".

Re: Japanese language dialogue text
Sorry, this is a bug in the Dialogue Editor. It was introduced in version 1.6.2. I'm going to release version 1.6.3 tomorrow to fix it. In the meantime, if you notice this behavior again, close the Dialogue Editor window and re-open it. Sorry again for the trouble. I'll post here as soon as version 1.6.3 is available.

Oh, that's OK. I'm thankful to providing such a superb tool!
I'm looking forward to the version 1.6.3.
