Hi,
I'm currently evaluating the use of the Dialogue System in an Malbers Animal Controller project. The project uses the Unity New Input System. However, the evaluation version does not contain any support for the New Input System.
Reverting back to the old input system is not really an option for me as I require controller support on different platforms (Mac, Windows) and the axis/button numbers all mess up from one system to another.
Is there any way to evaluate the Dialogue System using the New Input System?
Thanks in advance.
Maarten
New Input System and Evaluation version
Re: New Input System and Evaluation version
Hi Maarten,
No, sorry. The Dialogue System's new Input System package support is a compiler option. Since the evaluation version is precompiled, it can't support integrations that are enabled by compiler options. Once you evaluate the Dialogue System for what it does (conversations, barks, etc.) separately from Malbers Animation Controller to make your decision, you can enable the Input System integration in the Asset Store version.
