Adding & Accessing Custom Fields of Quest Entry

Hi Tony,
I was wondering if it was possible to add a custom field to a Quest Entry? Pretty much I'm looking to add short descriptions for quest entries that will popup when the quest entry becomes active, but I don't want to use the full quest entry description because I don't have enough room in the UI I'm working with.
I've added custom fields to Quests in the past, but I don't see a space to add a custom field to a Quest Entry, so I was wondering if it was possible.
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Yes, you can add them in the Quest/Items >
quest > All Fields section and/or in the Templates > Quests section.
If a field starts with "Entry #", it will appear in the quest entry's edit section. For example:

It seems that Fields beginning with "Entry[entry_num]" don't support custom field types. Would it be possible for support to be added for custom field types for Quest Entries?
Another request that would be nice for our team would be the ability to add fields directly on the Entries themselves rather than having to add them to the Quest with the Entry Name prefix, which can be prone to user error when typing/copy-pasting the prefix.
Thank you!

I'll look into this. I'm pretty sure we can add support for that.

Would it help if you were to add the fields in the Dialogue Editor's Templates section? This way you only need to add it once, and the field will appear in all quests.
I'll also look into adding a pop-up wizard in each entry's edit section where you can add new fields.

That can help avoid user error but not every quest will have the same number of entries. I suppose we could add enough fields for a max number of entries and have designers just delete extra ones though, that might be the way to go.

That'd be amazing! Custom field types support would already be huge though, thanks so much!

These changes won't be in version 2.2.25 (releasing today), but I'll plan to get them into 2.2.26.
