Any built in way to organize and visualize full stories?

I saw that the dialogue system has support for a ton of integrations, but I'm looking for something specific that may already be built into the dialogue system itself.

I'm basically trying to find a way of organizing a flow chart similar to how the conversations work, but with the conversations themselves as the nodes. Kind of like one level higher if that makes sense. I'm not too concerned about the conversations playing in sequence and this would be mostly for organizational purposes while working on a large game.

I've thought about maybe using scriptable objects to hold data pertaining to a conversation, and then organizing those with some kind of asset viewer tool that displays them as nodes.

Is there anything like that that already exists for the dialogue system?

Hi,

Nothing specifically like that is built into the Dialogue System, but you can use a conversation's nodes to point to other nodes, essentially making a hierarchy.

Alternatively, you may be interested in articy:draft. It's a paid product, but it does exactly what you describe, and the Dialogue System has good support for it.
