I see that Quest Machine already supports Articy:draft 3, but Dialogue system also supports chat mapper and since I’m trying to choose the tool to buy, is quest machine plan a chat mapper integration? If not, is articy:draft integration good enough to make my life easier and worth the money? thank you

Hi,
Chat Mapper and articy:draft are both good for writing dialogue. On the other hand, more one than studio has started with external editors such as articy and then decided to use the Dialogue System's built-in Dialogue Editor in the end. It has some advantages, such as being able to hook up scene events in the Unity editor. That said, articy:draft and Chat Mapper are both very good tools, too. Also, if your project gets huge and you end up having a large budget and multiple writers, articy has a (pricey) multiuser server option that allows multiple writers to work on the articy project at the same time on a server.
No Chat Mapper integration for Quest Machine is planned. You can define quests in articy in a manner similar to the way you define them in the Dialogue System (i.e., a table of fields such as State, Description, etc.). But if you're going to use Quest Machine, then you may just want to use Quest Machine's visual node-based quest editor.

Ok thanks for the details Tony! I'm checking my options and might just go with a simple writer free app (like yWriter) to just make the construction and do all the node stuff in Quest Machine which I love and it fully works with my setup now.

Sounds good! If you're talking about writing dialogue with a free app, the Dialogue System can import some free app formats, too, such as Twine, and a simple custom text format that Mografi wrote for use with their game Jenny LeClue. Mografi's JLC importer is on the Dialogue System Extras page.
