Text Animator for Unity, Text cut off even with Typed message

I downloaded Text Animator for Unity and I've written a little script that fires of the Typed messaged to the sequences "OnMessageShowed" but it seems like some of the time the message gets cut off.
Is there any extra step for integration that I might have missed?
