Typing Dialogue Lag?

Ever since I upgraded to the newest version of Unity, there's been a serious lag when I'm typing dialogue entries. Does anyone else have this problem? Do you have a fix?

Everyone has the problem. It's a Unity editor bug in Unity 2019.2 - 2019.3. It's fixed in 2020.1.0a17+. I've implemented a workaround that speeds it up quite a bit. The workaround will be in the next update, version 2.2.5.
