Version 2.0 is now officially released! You can download it immediately on the Pixel Crushers customer download site (PM me your Asset Store invoice number if you need access), and it should be on the Asset Store in a few business days.

Many thanks to everyone who participate in the beta test! I really appreciate you taking the time to help out!

Great! I've missed this for some days but now that I've just released a new game version, this might be the time to upgrade DS.

Err... what about making a (whole DB) Search and Replace now? I'm dying for something like that...

Yes, I'm an ungrateful bitch, I know.

It's been on my list for a while. What are some example uses?

For example: You change your mind, and the player's quest is now to get the Axe of Chopping instead of the Hammer of Smooshing. So you replace "Hammer of Smooshing" with "Axe of Chopping" in all quests and conversations.

Is that the kind of thing you're looking for?

That would be a possible use case, yup. Although I'm also particularly interested in something less automated and more granular.

In addition to a 'Find and replace all' behavior, it would also be nice if it could behave like MS Word's search & replace, in the sense that when you hit the 'search' button, it sends you to the first node in the current conversation (or the other ones in the DB if doesn't find it in the current one), mark the found text so you can choose to delete it by pressing 'Del' or 'Backspace' or, instead of that, press a 'Replace' button so the text gets overwritten with a previously written text.

This could be useful to make sure you don't mess up before committing to a serious change.
