"Feature" suggestion: More noticeable selected node highlight

Hi Tony,
Sometimes, I see myself losing precious time trying to find the node I have selected in a big conversation. Take this one for instance...:
And if the node in question is colored blue... well...
I know I could look for its highlighted link arrows, but they're also hard to see with my compact diagrams, in which nodes are so close to each other.
It's not a big deal, but if you could come up with a more effective highlight effect, that would be nice.
I don't know... maybe a thicker effect, using bright white so it contrasts better with the dark gray background?

Will do. I just added it to the roadmap for 1.7.7.2.

Thank you Tony!
I also have another suggestion though, but I don't want to create another post for it, to avoid spamming.
When I duplicate a node, I always find myself deleting the outgoing links that get also duplicated, because I use those duplicated nodes to continue the conversation.
Would it be possible to just duplicate the node without the outgoing links?
Thanks!

Sure! I'll add that as an option.

Hi, I've just realized I didn't find the "don't duplicate links" option in 1.7.7.2.
Am I missing some setting?
Edit: in fact, what it would be nicer, now that I think about it, would be that when you copy multiple nodes, they retain their equivalent links between them...
That is, that if I duplicate three nodes that are connected sequentially, they get the links between the first/second and second/third nodes also replicated. The first node would not maintain its inbound links and the third would not duplicate its outbound links.
Does that make sense to you? Would it be possible to add this without too much hassle? I think it would be great to copy entire conversation sections so you could make new dialogue branches quicker!

Sorry, the "don't duplicate links" enhancement didn't make it into 1.7.7.2. But it sounds like that may be a good thing now. If my understanding is correct, I agree: when duplicating a multi-node selection, duplicate all the internal links between those nodes, but don't duplicate links going into or out of that selection. This will give you a fully internally-connected, but free-floating, branch.

Why didn't I replied to this...?
Yes, that is correct. Moreover, I've just come up with the idea that, when you duplicate such structure, it would be very nice to have the editor automatically select all the duplicated nodes for you, so you could just drag them off the way to their desired position, instead of needing to shift+click over them manually before the drag operation (?).

Good idea. You got it.
