Active Actors

Post by Alatriste »

Hi Tony,

I think it would be very useful that the system cleans up portraits from the UI depending on the Actor and Conversant.
A trick I usually use is to use the "ghost actor" with an alpha portrait when I don't want to show him, but I realize that this doesn't work in the cases where the ghost actor doesn't say a word.

For me is confusing that even when one of the actor is set up as "none" or "ghost" because I want to hide it in the middle of the conversation, is still showing up unless I introduce a node to do the trick I mentioned above.

Does it make sense?

Thanks! :)

Hi,

I understand. I'll think of a good way to handle this and propose a solution here in a reply before I program it. Normally you could change the subtitle panel's Visibility to Only During Content, but this might not be the behavior you want.

It might be useful to have two checkboxes for "not display portrait for Actor/Conversant" in the active node.
