Hi there,
I've tried to make a search for this, so I don't know if there's a "magic key" to do this already. If that's the case, sorry about opening a new thread.
Anyway, I have very big conversation trees, so navigating between far-off nodes is becoming a real hassle because scrolling becomes less responsive with huge conversations.
However, instead of manually scrolling, a better way to move around would be to press one of those buttons at the bottom of dialogue entries...:
Moreover, this way we even avoid human mistakes when selecting a node after manual scrolling (it happens to me sometimes).
Only problem is that even if you've effectively selected the node you're interested in editing... [Edit]: I've just realized it actually doesn't select the node in the Editor window.
...the Editor window doesn't center itself to the aforementioned node, which would be nice to see things in perspective.
So, is there a shortcut key to do that centering that I've missed? If there isn't any, I think it would be useful to either have one, OR change those buttons behavior so they center the window in addition to select the node.
I understand option two would be more intrusive to all users, so I'd be happy with just a keyboard shortcut.
Also, I'm wondering if there is/would you be able to add another keyboard shortcut to select the previous node. That also would be useful.
Thank you!

I don't think it will be too intrusive to center on the node when you click the link button. I'll add this to 1.8.4 and 2.0.2.
Since it's possible for a node to have multiple previous nodes, it may be better to just visually follow the colored link arrow to find the previous node.

Thanks!
Oh, I actually meant the "last" node selected (before the current one) before the current one, not the previous as such because indeed there could be multiple ones. Bad selection of words.
That would require to store the penultimate node ID and going there after that suggested key is pressed.
Edit: I guess it could also serve as a toggle key between the last two nodes selected, right?

Can you suggest a key for this? I feel like I'm starting to run out of keys to assign shortcuts to.

B for Back, or R for Return, or P for Previous, maybe...?

Thanks. I'll see if I can do P for Previous.
