Controller Input

When installing Dialogue System it asked me if I wanted to add controller input, but I was concerned that it would overwrite all my existing Input settings, which are critical for my Invector setup to work. So I said no. However, I do want controller input in the dialogue system so I'm wondering how I can add that input after the fact? Also, I want to make sure it doesn't overwrite any existing input settings.

Hi,

The Dialogue System is pretty well behaved. It won't overwrite your settings. To add the input settings to detect joystick movement, inspect the Dialogue Manager GameObject. It should have an Input Device Manager component. Click Add Input Definitions.
