Basic Standard UI elements - How to edit?

Hello Toni

Please see attached.

I followed your tutorial and made a copy of the basic standard UI selector elements as i wan to customize the UI and text.
But everything seems locked / greyed out?
How do edit the UI? Again i want to use texe mesh pro for all my UI text.

And why is the text appearing twice?

Hi,

You can use TextMesh Pro for all text. Unassign the Text fields to make the TextMeshProUGUI fields visible.

For the selector UI, please watch the Interaction Tutorial video. At 04:00, it talks about the selector UI.
