I am using the new OpenAI plug-in and loving it but curious if there is currently a way to generate conversations with branching dialogue options automatically. I have been adding in the Assist Prompt "branching dialogue" and it will create some options but it does not format correctly and requires going through and relinking dialogue and deleting some duplicate nodes (it creates the option as a node for the NPC and then another node for the player's dialogue response).
I am curious if there is a specific way I should be asking GPT to format the options so the Dialogue System knows to group nodes together or if this is just a feature that might come later on down the road.
Thanks in advance and I appreciate the great plug-in!
OpenAI Plugin / Branching Dialogue
Re: OpenAI Plugin / Branching Dialogue
Hi,
Thanks for using the addon! Another update is coming later this week, focusing primarily on runtime dialogue. We're partnering up with a company called Dialogue Smith to get branching conversation into the addon, hopefully in the next update (not the one this week). I'm also working on some branching conversation "templates" for that update. These templates will provide some common conversation tree structures, such as conversations for quests (offer, update, turn in, recap) that will use the addon to fill in the actual text details.
