How to Not Swap Speaker

Post by boz »

I have a tendency to break up dialogue from one character into multiple lines, but DSFU will always swap speakers when I make a new node and I often miss it and get my speakers mixed up. Is there a way to set this to not auto-swap and then I can manually set the speaker?

Hi,

Yes. Hold down Shift when right-clicking on a node and selecting Create Child Node. This will make a new node that uses the same actor and conversant as the one you clicked on.

The Dialogue Editor also has a bunch of keyboard shortcuts.
