Peek 3rd party integration?

Post by SealDev »

Hey Tony! I'm encountering 2 issues:

1. The top toolbar of Peek has no icon for the Dialogue popup window (see image 1 and 2)
2. Each time I open the dialogue window, these 2 errors pop up (see image 3, and 4)

Worth mentioning:
1. Errors pop up only on window open. Not when I press again to close the window.
2. I get 4 of both erros in my case
3. While hovering over the dialogue window, it keeps triggering those same 2 errors many times per second but only while moving the mouse or clicking (i think because it's in the scene view)

Hi,

I haven't worked with Peek yet. I'm not sure what the top toolbar is supposed to do.

The errors should be harmless except for looking ugly in the Console. Maybe Peek is intercepting some GUI stuff to do custom processing. From your item #3 it sounds like Peek redraws some GUI stuff in the Scene view? (Again, I'm not familiar with Peek yet, although it's on my list of things to look at as time allows.)

One of the errors open up to this line from this script, just so you know when you get to it. Thankfully it's harmless except it adds up to thousands of errors.

Thanks. That line is more a symptom than the root cause. It's trying to pop a layout command (in this case a grouping command) off of the stack of grouping commands, but there aren't any unresolved layout commands left on the stack. I'll try to get to this sooner rather than later since thousands of error messages are no good, even if they don't cause any problems other than spamming the Console.
