Hi,
Assign the VN Template Standard Dialogue UI prefab to the Dialogue Manager's Dialogue UI field. It already does this. Then you can customize it to look the way you want.
Or, if you're already using a customized dialogue UI, inspect your subtitle panels and change the Visibility dropdown to Always From Start.
