Import the package Dialogue System/Scripts/Unity UI Support. This will unpack files into the folder Dialogue System/Scripts/Supplemental/UI. I'm using 5.1.1 so I have this already built in, not like it says in your docs I believe? http://www.pixelcrushers.com/dialogue_system/manual/html/rpg_kit.html

I'm using unity 5.1.1 of yesterday. I'm going to make a new project, so far ARPG and Dialog System loaded. This has to be on my 'Top Ten computer annoyances' -'#7- You're the only one getting this error' 8--[. Probably needed to trim it down anyway, for 1 thing Unity puts a 47MB skybox in it's stand...

I'm getting this same error, on upgrade and on delete dialog system and import fresh

Assets/sharedassets0.asset(1,1): BCE0044: unexpected char: 0x0.

Only reimport all 45 minutes makes it go away

I wonder if they help westingtyler. I make them because I don't want to figure things out twice. :--}

Works for me also
